Summary
An app built specifically for live coverage of the 2014 midterm elections, featuring content from NPR’s live blog along with data visualizations of the election results. The app cycled through slides of this information, paired with audio coverage of the election. A key part of this project was the results board pictured below, which we built in collaboration with NPR reporters as both an internal tool for live election coverage and a public-facing results display.
Implementation
I worked on this project as an intern on NPR’s Visuals team. My primary contributions were updates to the front-end code and participating in brainstorming meetings and sprint demos.
